DOUT Matrix Problem

When I'm using

DOUT_MATRIX n=1 rows=4 sr_dout_sel1=3 sr_dout_r1=4 led_emu_id_offset=1001 inverted_sel=0 inverted_row=0

 

all LED's in the Matrix turn on and didn't react on incoming Midi Events like

EVENT_LED id=1001  type=NoteOn  chn= 1  key= 36

 

What am I doing wrong?

Did you check if your LED polarity is wrong?

The polarity of the LED seems to be right.

When I disconnect the Matrix and measure the the voltage between the connectors on the DOUT Module there are still 5V. And for my understanding it has to 0V, because I never send any Midi-Event to turn on one or all LED.

Are they also 5V if the .NGC file is (almost) empty, resp. when it only contains the RESET_HW command?

Then it's probably related to a connection error between J8/9 and the shift register chain.

That's it. I connected the DOUT Modul directly to the core and now it works.
