It's hard to quantify how much value the physical construction of a sammichSID adds to the total cost, but I think increasing the price based on rarity would be pretty clearly out of bounds. That said, I've definitely seen sammichSIDs sell for considerable amounts in other places.... Interested to hear TK's take on this.
