FantomXR Posted November 30, 2013 Report Posted November 30, 2013 Dear forum-members, it was already mentioned in the midiboxKB sticky thread. Some one ask, how to "midify" a wurlitzer piano. I'm interested in this to, so I ordered 10pc of 78-TCUT1350X01. So, what are the next steps? The sensor has six SMD pads. How to connect those to the DIN and how about the firmware? Thorsten, do you need a sample? Should I send you one or two of them? Thanks, Chris Quote
2wice Posted December 7, 2013 Report Posted December 7, 2013 I've also ordered the parts to try this. I'm going to concentrated on getting the mechanicals right before trying the software parts. Because the action on my Wurli's are very loose, and the tolerances are tight I thought of trying a disc or a strip of plastic with with 0.1mm slits every 0.5mm. I'm hoping to the sensor will be able to pick up such small apertures. It might be able to to calculate aftertouch then. Quote
FantomXR Posted May 1, 2014 Author Report Posted May 1, 2014 Hey, 2wice: any news on this at your side? Quote
TK. Posted May 2, 2014 Report Posted May 2, 2014 Thorsten, do you need a sample? Should I send you one or two of them? If you could send me a sample, this would be great; it would be a nice test vehicle for me. Best Regards, Thorsten. Quote
FantomXR Posted February 16, 2015 Author Report Posted February 16, 2015 Long long time ago :-) I still have those sensors next to me. Any chance, that we can work on it ? :) Thanks! Chris Quote
