MB6582 - DC Cable

I am currently constructing a PSU for my MB6582 unit. The PSU will consist of a Meanwell RPT60 with a LM2596 circuit to make the required 9 Volts. I already have a DIN7 connector, just need a proper cable to go from the PSU to the MB6582.

I feel a bit silly, but i am unsure what kind of cable to use for this. I could use a 4 core 230Volt cable for this, but that would be overkill and also would be way to thick. However i don't seem to be able to find anything that fits the bill. Any suggestions would be helpfull.

Any cable with an area of 0,14mm² should be sufficient for 2 amps per wire - you can harvest old C64 PSU or floppy serial cables, or buy s.th like this from Reichelt:

Edit: Reference sheet containing wire copper area <-> max current load specs:

Many greets and have a successful new year!
