EsotericLabs Posted April 15, 2014 Report Share Posted April 15, 2014 (edited) Hello, Does somebody nearby NL have a spare blue backlit 40x2 LCD (seq size) (e.g. from satistronics) to sell or trade? I have soldered DIN's, a red backlit 20x4 LCD (mb6582 size), stabilized 10 watt 5v psu's, formulor seq v4l front plates (and more misc stuff) in return or plain cash. I found the displays (two blue ones) but didn't test them - they do not have 16pin header soldered and are vanilla ones. I see Voti has green/yellow ones for 15.25€, I found blue ones in a local parts store for 13.22€ (on sale currently and almost gone already, http://www.gme.sk/lcd-displej-everbouquet-mc4002d7-sblw-p513-168 in czech language, alas). Mine are equivalent (type says MC4002D-SBL), I can part them for 12€ each (plus actual s&h from Slovakia) if still interested. Some want €50 or more, that's crazy. I ordered two from Voti, green / yellow, which have lower energy consumption and fit the color of other LCDs in my rack. My SEQ is now coming together rapidly. I found a modular hard plastic 19" casing at a local store in The Hague, got a front plate from fomulor. It has an and an extra core running NG. this adds midi in and out of course and will (after proper configuration) provide extra remoting for a FCB1010 floorboard. Pics & tunes will follow!
