opening/closing Ableton without screen or mouse

Hi,
I'm making an instrument for schoolkids, a cabinet/chest of drawers, to make music with that schools can rent from a educational art institute.

In fact it's just a midicontroller (MIDIboxNG) with an integrated mini PC running Windows7 and Ableton Live9.

The teacher has to power on the machine without a screen or mouse etc, just hit the power knob, and at the end of the day hit the powerknob again so the PC will shut down.
Everytime Live should just loads its template without asking for anything, like crashreports etc.
Is there a way to achive this? I found this threat

but I don't know how to do this exactly.

Any help will be greatly appreciated, I have a truly great machine but now it hangs on such a stupid issue.
Thanks in advance and cheers,
