Captain_Hastings Posted December 3, 2003 Report Posted December 3, 2003 Does anyone know a good (DIY/commercial) alternative to the Radial X-Amp?This thing converts a low impedance line level signal to a high impedance (high-Z guitar) signal... which i guess is what i need to be able to use stompboxes/guitarpedals as insert or send/return FX.more info about the X-Amp:http://news.harmony-central.com/Newp/2003/X-Amp.htmlthanks in advance for any help!cheers,Hastings
moebius Posted January 25, 2004 Report Posted January 25, 2004 Remembering this topic from a way back as interesting one.. ;)Check Ken Stones CGS module:http://www.cgs.synth.net/modules/cgs46_sba.htmlIt's intended to interface synth modules as guitar FX, but I think that using it other way around is OK too. Just injecting line level signal to output attenuator -> Guitar FX -> input amplifier output is then line out.Bye, Moebius
Captain_Hastings Posted January 25, 2004 Author Report Posted January 25, 2004 I'll have a look. Thanks! :)
