Rowan
Yesterday a flashed MIOS 1.9h with a PICkit 3 to four 18F4685 PIC's succesfully. After flashing MIOS I used MIOS a studio to flash the Change ID applications to change the ID's of the chips to 0 - 3. Once I have done this I queried all chips to check they were working fine and I only get a response on all four chips when I query ID 0. I'm expecting each chip to only respond on the ID set by the Change ID application flashed on to it. I have defiantly ran the four different applications, I.e. Change ID 0, Change ID 1, Change ID 2 & Change ID 3. Flashing each chip with a unique Change ID number. I'm pretty sure this behaviour isn't normal and indicates the ID hasn't been changed. Any ideas?
C_04
Hi I know that some programmer software has possibility to change PIC IDs manually. I have no idea right now which of them you may use but in the past ive seen one who has that possibility. Another thing is if you not sure that it is programming well - use other software which tell you current PIC ID after change. If it will be still the same - you know the answer. Anyway try to find software where you can change IDs manually. Cheers
