j00lz Posted July 21, 2020 Report Share Posted July 21, 2020 Hello, Having received and installed the replacement LCD, I am very very close to completion :) I am having one remaining issue with the detented encoder on the right of the LCD. At first, it would only decrement, regardless of the direction in which it was turned. I updated MIOS and MBSID to the latest versions (having read that it could solve some issues with encoder bounce handling) and now it is pretty much dead ; it doesn't do anything regardless of the direction in which I turn it. As a workaround I can use the up and down buttons but it would obviously be nice to get it working... j00lz Posted July 21, 2020 Author Report Share Posted July 21, 2020 Thanks for your reply, I am leaning towards faulty encoder or IC ( I accidentally plugged the LCD backwards at some point and had to change it).
