Midi Controlled "Recording" light?

Hi everybody;

Is this something doable, and how can it be accomplished?

I want to hang a lighted sign outside my studio (under construction) that says 'recording' anytime I'm recording. I suppose we could use MMC for the signal;

This would be similar to the "On Air" light seen at radio stations and tv studios.

Can a mios core do this? Any suggestions?

Sure!

You'll have to use a relay switch instead of a led on the dout module and assign it to the CC# used by the record button!
