doesn't really make fun (at least from the implementation side...)

Why all must be fun?
I think it can be really easy adapt it to OPL4... I can donate an OPL4 if needed ;)

No thanks, I'm not interested.
To give you an impression: the definition and implementation of the MIDIbox FM software took me ca. 6 months, the statement "can really easy adapt it to OPL4" can only come from somebody who never did something like this by himself.
Best Regards, Thorsten.

OPL4 is not the same chip at all, wavetable + integrated OPL3(OPL3 is an extra in this case). An other MIDIbox would be needed, it would play samples and FM.

Hi TK,
wouldn`t it be nice for a mbfm v2 to have tempo(midi)synced lfos like in the sid v2?
And what I really like to see is a sequencer-option like in the sid v2.
303 bassline with the fm-engine and tr-styled for the drums.
Perhaps a double core solution?
Only some ideas...
;)
