Richard has built an eye-catching black/red box to control Traktor. He wrote:

I am sure you are bored by all the gratitude you get, however I must thank
you sincerely for this wonderful project.

Attached are pictures of a midibox64 built as a Traktor controller.

I am UK based.

The front panel is a sheet of galvanised steel backed with 3mm plywood.
Printed paper cutouts stuck to it ten covered in clear plastic.

No great problems building it, all using stripboard curcuit boards.

Keep up this amazing project, as we all apprechiate your time & enthusiam.

Richard Kennett.

"Eye-catching" meets the point! Richard, could you please post some pictures about the inside life of your box?

Cheers,
Skunk

Hi Richard!

Cool Midibox!!!
My question is how does the "wind" function works. Does is utilise a rotary encoder? If so does the deck spin forward and backward as you twiddle the knob ---- or: (which is what i found out) fasten up the deck if given a value above 64 and reverse the deck if given a value below 64???
I'm asking because I have some problems hooking up my rotary encoder --> see: http://69.56.171.55/...hp?topic=3852.0

regards
michael

It isn't a rotary encoder.  I found your problem when testing the knob out.  So I assigned it to deck seek position instead, which I find is probably a better substitute. The pitch bend buttons can act as the wind function as well.

Hm, how do u use pitch bend buttons as wind-buttons? Is that the same function or?
