Here are some ZCONSOLE 's pictures.
I started to fabricate it when I saw in ELEKTOR the midi KNOBBOX (2001)
There was so many times I was waiting for this!!!
So I make some knobbox ,some midi merge, dismantle some cheap midi keyboard(to keep switchs midi note on),
and make and test a lot of different audio circuits.
At the same time i make a software (visual basic) wich manages the console and the multitrack.
I finished 1.5 year after and i'm very please about and the soft change in accordance of my practicing and the evolution.

The Zconsole contents:

    32 monitoring faders
    32 mutes
    32 solo
    32 EQ in
    32 Dynanic in
    32 selection chanel
    16 input mic/line
16 motorized faders (for eq/dyn/aux/and other controls)
4 fader group    (you can virtually group faders you want by selecting on each channel)
    1 fader master
talk-back manual or auto (switch when the multitrack stops)
monitoring with differents inputs for HP and headphones independant.
    oscillator
    a lot of fonction switchs.....
    etc...

My name is François COUSIN
from Saint-Denis (93200) FRANCE

--That's amazing!

I'd love to see a description of the channel strips and whatever MIOS edits he may have done, when he's got the time. I especially like the numeric LED's at the bottom.

Very professional! And when did you sleep in the 1,5 years???  ;D

Can you supply something like a block schematics of the whole system -- just to get a better feeling which unit is doing what.

Cheers,
Skunk
