drin Posted November 29, 2005 Report Posted November 29, 2005 Hi Stefano. Do you have a part number and maybe a manufacturer for the fader? Thanks!-drin
selfservice Posted November 30, 2005 Author Report Posted November 30, 2005 on the case is written: 50KA x 26236near the frist line there is two symbol, a triangle with the marked edges and a circle with an "A" inside.that's all.
Synapsys Posted November 30, 2005 Report Posted November 30, 2005 Hi,Another thing you should watch here is the label 50KA. If the pots are relatively new the A could mean audio taper. If the pots are old the A could mean linear. The best thing to do is place the slider in the middle of its travel and measure the resistance between the tap and each end with a meter. The value will be relatively equal if the pot is linear taper but will be noticably different if its audio taper.Hope this is useful...Regards,Synapsys
