5meo-geo
hello midi-boxersi have small questionplanning to build midibox mixer and i wonder how many buttions in minimum requered for the menu navigation???10x in advance
SounDuke
the minimum is 4 buttons, otherwise you could replace 2 buttons with a single encoder to provide datawheel (more comfortable in my opinion) but you can add "shortcut" special buttons to provide quicker access to pages. But remember: not more than 128 digital inputs x core!
5meo-geo
10x alot128 is far more than i need :)problem was that i saw at most midibox in galery about 8 buttions arround the screenand i already sent my panel desing to CNC cutng and set only 4 push buttions and 1 up/down switchbut now im calm :)10x again
machinate
the minimum is 4 buttons, otherwise you could replace 2 buttons with a single encoder to provide datawheel (more comfortable in my opinion) to clarify: would that be just 2 buttons and an encoder? machinate
thanks!damn, I wish this system had 128+4 dins. :'( Uhm, newb q here, but if I did a two-core system would I be able to program both units from one display+buttons? Specifically a Midibox 64e and a MIDIO128. I'm a bit hesitant to do a system where part of it can only be programmed from a computer.
