Hi there,

iam having problems with the installation of the application: midibox_seq_v2_4c

i updated the bootloader and mios (to 1.9c) on my PIC18F452 SEQ version 2.

after the booting process, the display of the SEQv2 says 'READY'. If i try to install the application, nothing happens. if i reboot the midibox, the sysex request is received, after that the upload begins. but it does nothing. can somebody help me ?

thanks in advance

Hmm, doesn't sound too bad.  Can you provide a few more details on what you are uploading with?  MIOS Studio?  Can you verify that you get the "MIOS v1.9" splash screen at startup?  (sounds like you do).  If you just start the device without trying to upload code do you get the upload request message more than once?  If so than the MIOS upload was not really successful, try again.

hi,

thanks for the fast reply.

i have a midibox seq v2 with a PIC18F452.

i uploaded the bootloader 1.2 with my JDM burner via IC-PROG.

after that, i uploaded mios 1.9c via midi with MIOS Studio.

now: the box boots. i see a splash screen MIOS 1.9c, then ONE sysex request is sent. after that, the display says "READY."

if i try to upload the 2.4c version of the mbseq application, nothing happens.

like this:

mios_v1_9c_pic18f452.hex

Hex file contains code in MIOS range, forcing reboot!

(reboot is not working, i have to reboot by hand...)

Received Upload Request

Sending block 00000400-000004FF

... now, nothing happens... ;(

any suggestions ?

thanks
