Hello, seeing that's this is my post in this beautiful forum, I would like to introduce myself:
I'm Marco and I'm from Italy.
Last summer me and a friend have build a couple of midibox plus  ;D

Maybe not the most simple - those look like custom PCBs for the CS to me :) I like the way there's a kind of 'border' around the
buttons!

What kind of timber is the casing? it's a nice tone, is it some kind of American Oak?

Thanks a lot for the good words!  ;D

The timber is mahogany but for the bottom I've used some standard ply :-)
The buttons' pcb is custom.

yeah i made a electrical guitar out of a mahgony block with NO ELECTRICAL MACHINES. :D

But looks really good.

Mahagony... are you sure? I get 2 peaces of mahagony after alot of hunting which I save for secial case, but mine is darker and kinda more redish than yours. Maybe it is because of camera... Annyway, nice box and nice knobs.
