Would anyone be interrested in purchasing them ? I will start selling them in a few weeks, I figure there is no point in charging alot of money for them, would $16 shipped anywere be alright? But im pretty sure that i´d like to extend with a couple of Sid right after i´ve made the first one. :)As for the price I have to say that it´s very fair. I have to wait to build a sid module so I can test the chips before selling them, but I will post on this forum when I am ready to sell them. Forms of payment will be paypal, money orders, and I dont like taking cash but if someone wants to it will be fine. Some say these were a proto-type for the R5 which oddly is dated before these and others claim these were the R6 but for whatever reason were never released. These use the same filters and settings as the R5. Revision 1 (R1) original chips: The 1981-83 are R1 chips for certain. 1984 are probably R1, but actually could be an R2. 6581:2482 6581:1683 6581:2983 6581:0484 6581:2084 Revision 1 or 2 (R1 or R2) chips: 1984 are probably R1, but actually could be an R2. Unless you are a SID chip expert it's unknown. 6581:2484 6581:2684 6581:2884 6581:3384 Revision 2 (R2) chips: The 1985 unmarked 6581 CBM are Revision 2 (R2) chips made just before the R3 came out. Because these are ultra rare; mainly due the fact they were never used in commercial computer. Some people have told me this was the R6 chip and yet others say it was a proto-type to the R5, not sure what the truth is.
