i voted for alternate, but i'm definitely in for two sets no matter what design is used.

honestly, i'd prefer the original one if the font were a little more clear (bold/bigger??), and the waveforms were graphical rather than text. both look amazing though. :)

The pic of the alternate one isn't the latest...

I did a little tweaking the other night. I prefer the label "SID" instead of "CHANNEL" for selecting Left/Right SID (it is actually labelled "SID" in the menu on the LCD).

(Altitude: can you edit your post with the pictures?)

I cant until I get home, there is something jacked with your PDF and it wont open in illustrator 10 correctly (line weights are super thick) and I have CS at home but 10 here at the office

I like the graphic waveforms in the alternate, but prefer the simple lines of the original (i.e. where LED's are grouped, the "alternate" has the lines go thick and encompass the label, but the original just has a nice, clean line).  I wish we could have the original but with graphic waveform selection.

Isn't TK using the term "SID Engine" to describe the SID firmware mode (bass line, multi, lead), yet we are using the word "SID Engine" on this front panel to distinguish between which core we're addressing?  I mean, I know I'm being nitpicky, but ...  :-\

Maybe we should use the word "core" or something instead?

"SID Engine" is the term TK told me to use.

There are four "SID Engines" (running on four Cores) and each "SID Engine" can be in one of four modes.

In V1, there was only one Core per SID, so the labels "SID 1", "SID 2" etc. were fine.

In V2, each Core can control one or two SIDs.
