Large character LCD's?

I'm trying to locate an LCD display which is has either a 1x40 or 2x40 display and a character width of at leas 5mm.

I want it so I can have one LCD over 8 channels but the only large character LCD's I can find stop at 2x24.

The largest 2x40 I have found is 3.5mm at largest, does anyone know of a supplier for such a product as I really don't want to use 2 LCD's as it will make the fader banks much wider than I would like?
