is anyone doing an alps motorfader bulk order anytime soon? i'm looking for 13 of them. or 14. to avoid bad luck.

It depends on which fader types you're looking for. There is a bulk order still open for the coreless V faders, for all the other fader types (Standard DC motors) it has been closed just recently. Have a look at http://69.56.171.55/~midibox/forum/index.php?topic=4047.0.
