    Up for sale is a MB6582 with 8x 8580R5 SIDs, build with red LEDs and Red background LCD, Transparent Waldorf Knobs, Display Window, and Original C64PSU.

  8. Kleine Rotary Encoder gesucht

    Hallo zusammen,

    Ich bin auf der suche nach einer kleineren Alternative zu den Encodern von VOTI für meine Midibox FM. Ich plane das CS auf 1 HE zu bauen und suche daher Encoder die ich 1:1 an die DINX4 anschließen kann ohne Änderungen an der Programmierung vor zu nehmen. Am liebsten wären mir 9mm (max. 12mm) Encoder.

    Da meine Elektronik Kenntnisse nicht ausreichend sind, benötige ich da eure Hilfe!

    7. Gibts die LCDs in Mikes Midishop auch in Rot auf Schwarz? Steht leider keine Farbe dran

    Sind derzeit nicht so einfach zu finden, habe sehr lange gesucht und schließlich Neuware bei eBay bekommen. Der Verkäufer war Electronic Dreamz (UK).

    Hallo Gabriel,

    da hast du ja ein sehr umfangreiches Thema ausgesucht...

    Was du brauchen kannst ist ein Sequenzer Programm. Da gibt es schon eine ganze menge davon...

    Ich persönlich nutze da "Ableton Live 7" (ist auch schon als V8 erhältlich) und Cubase SX3 (hab schon lange nicht upgedatet, ist schon V6 oder so erhältlich)

    Cubase kann außerdem die herkömmliche Notation auf virtuellem Pergament :)

    Du schreibst ja von Sequenzern hast du keine Ahnung...

    In der MIDI-Welt solltest du dich vielleicht mit dem Thema auch auseinander setzten. Grob gesagt ist ein Sequenzer ein Programm oder Gerät(Hardware) welcher Notenwete, Notenlänge, Anschlag, und vieles mehr speichert und zur richtigen Zeit an das Instrument schickt, damit dieses den Klang erzeugen kann.

    Des weiteren unterstützen diese Programme die Einbindung von VST-Instrumenten (Virtual Studio Technology). VST-Instrumente gibt es in allen nur denkbaren Varianten im Internet (viele davon kostenlos), Effekte, Drummachinen , Synths,... was das Herz begehrt. Auch sie werden vom Sequenzer gesteuert.

    Ich hoffe ich konnte dir einen kleinen Einblick geben was dich so erwartet.

    Wenn du noch Fragen hast kann ich dir auch gerne im Detail weiter helfen.

    PS.: Latenz ist die Zeitspanne vom anschlagen einer Taste (Keyboard) bis zum erklingen das Tones. Damit würde ich mich erst auseinander setzen wenn das Problem auftritt. Es kann viele Ursachen haben warum eine Latenz zu Stande kommt, kann auch sein, dass auf deinem Rechner alles einwandfrei läuft.

    Hello Guys!

    Today I finished most of my "Brand New MB6582"! After 3 mount of searching the web, ordering parts, learning little bit more English and drinking a lot of beer in sleepless nights I can see the 64 flashing LEDs the Matrix... Fantastic!

    Every thing works at once. The only trouble i had, was my pic-burner, it only needs a new calibration.

    But the best! I could not imagine who good it sounds before I turned on my own. I watched a lot of youtube clips in the last time, but in my home-studio ... I could not believe my ears ... what a great synth!

    Big thanks to TK and Wilba!

    Now i have to finish some details and clean up my table.

    Photos and Soundfiles coming soon! I have 2 weeks holiday ... enough time to play with SID :-)

    Does anybody know if "basicwayne" is a trusted SID chip vendor?

    I have no way of testing the chips yet, so I'd really have to trust him on that!

  25. [SOLVED] Need Help - No Testone on MB-6582

    Does your PIC work and is it burned correctly?

    I'm not sure,

    I burned the Bootloader with my Burner8p (sprut.de) into the PIC18F4685, put it into "core1" socket in my MB-6582 and start MIOS.

    Operating System MIOS8

    Board: MBHP_CORE or similar

    Core Family: PIC18F

    Bootloader is up & running!

    after uploading mbsid_testtone_v3c\main.hex

    Reading main.hex

    Trying to contact the core...

    main.hex contains 1220 bytes (5 blocks).

    Range 0x00003000-0x000034ff (1280 bytes) - PIC Flash

    Upload of 1280 bytes completed after 0.85s (1.47 kb/s)

    ... so I think my PIC work well, but I don't know,

    I can't measure any waveform on the pins.
