  1. Send Tim aka SmashTV a pm and ask for the status of the boards - he knows :-).
  2. What I am still wondering: Why would one need this if one can have a Sammich? In other words: apart from using a different PCB and case, what is the difference?
  3. To be honest, I don't think it is a smart choice to do this. It might make routing of the board a bit easier, but it will be a nightmare to keep up with MIOS updates. I don't see how are you going to support this if you don't think that users can upload software themselves? One of the mounting screws is conflicting with the MIDI socket - how will that be solved? Hopefully not by just leaving out the screw?
  4. Welcome here! This sounds like a very interesting application indeed! However, if your main goal is to save money, then this is the wrong approach - rather, get a used Behringer device that seems to be known to work in your use case. Whereas diy costs seem lower at first sight, they tend to explode as soon as you want a decent custom case. If you want features that can't be had from a commercially available device, then this is the right place!
  5. Credit must go to Hawkeye who had the original idea with the LED matrix module!
  6. Yepp. Congratulations, you're all in! There might be an 11th board (they sometimes put in one more), but that I will only know once I have them in hand. I'll let you know when the boards have arrived.
  7. Yes. However, you will spend considerably more time building this when using individual boards, and you will obviously have more sources of potential problems in getting your SEQv4 up and running. I am not sure when the PCBs will be available again in Tim's (aka SmashTV) shop, but why not just send him an email and ask?
  8. Not much. Get a core module and write a simple application that listens for incoming MIDI notes, checks in a look-up table what these should be converted to, and then sends out the corresponding note again. Or maybe just do some simple math to convert the note numbers...
  9. Yes, it is totally possible to build a SEQv4 from individual modules. There is a bit of relevant info here as well as here. Also, have a look at the config file that is used to tell the core what hardware is used - you will get an idea of the many options you have.
  10. Well you could build a second MIDIbox that would convert CV to MIDI and then send MIDI controllers to the SEQ.
  11. Quant. | forum name ----------------------- 2 | taximan 2 | JohnnieBee 1 | monokinetic Can the next ones just copy/quote the list and add themselves so I don't have to update? Thanks
  12. Quant. | forum name ----------------------- 2 | taximan 2 | JohnnieBee Also, I should add that this board requires smd soldering - keep this in mind when adding your name to the list! (More info in the Wiki.)
  13. You will probably just have to try this out, we cannot possibly know about all combinations of devices and operating systems  . It would therefore be extra nice if you could report back once you have managed!
  14. As the TPD board is now and can be configured completely in the config file, I have just ordered another small batch of boards (10 pieces). Nothing fancy but plain green boards with white silkscreen this time. Cost is 9,- Euros per board plus shipping - the boards will hopefully arrive just before Christmas, but i can obviously not guarantee that. Add your forum name and quantity to the list if interested, first come first served. (taximan, I have added you already, feel free to correct this if your plans have changed!) 15. Based on the drawing you link to I would say that this is the case!
  16. You have mail.
  17. I don't have any experience on a Mac, but I would guess that the RGB values are not what Formulor expects. There is an overview on the required RGB values here. Maybe that already does the trick?

    SOLD

I'm not sure it is really necessary to start another thread for the same item?! You have that one up in the fleamarket already...
  19. There is a frontpanel file I created, over in the Wiki. I had my panel lasercut at Formulor.de, I think Schrab used the same file for his.
  20. There is good news ahead, I got my hands on a pre-release that is awesome - TK rulez!!
  23. You're lucky that Kirchhoff already wrote it down for you and you don't have to come up with this stuff yourself!

I agree, this thread is a good place to upload!

I'd be very interested in this, too - I checked some old posts of yours, but all the links to membres.lycos.fr are dead... Best, ilmenator
