Is there any possibility of adding MIDI controlled effects to my work-in-progress mbSID? This would be ultimate. I'm mostly thinking of delay and chorus, much like in the above samples.

I have an idea which might be very far-fetched but here goes:
I'd really like to add small, 5-char, displays on my MB, for example, next to encoders or faders. It would display the actual value of the encoder/fader, possibly even converted to dB values (for example) instead of displaying just CC values.
Is this possible?

Wouldn't it be possible to use just encoders instead of pots, since you'll be using the new PIC? Personally, I'd prefer that, even if it is a bit more expensive. But that's just me :)

Does anyone know where I can find buttons with built-in leds like in the Radikal SAC2.2? (http://www.radikaltechnologies.com/Products/SAC-2_2/sac-2_2_0.html)
My current MB design sort-of depends on it :)

I think using the same controls for all voices and a button to switch between them would be ideal... Just a thought.

Hi everybody!
I've been watching the forms for a while now. I'm designing a massive MidiBox (currently: 32 tracks + master w/24 v-pots, 24 buttons and 1 motorfader per track) for myself based on the upcoming NG, which I'm very much looking forward to.
Anyway... my first question on the forums:
Could I somehow use the MidiBox SID if I wanted to make a completely stand-alone hardware SID synth with arpeggiators, LFOs and everything?
If so, how? If not, well... how then ? :)
I'm a little put-off by having to use my PC to edit the sounds but I would kill for a real SID synthesizer...
