  1. Hmm.. Anyone to re-make Hardtrance Acperience? :D M
  2. Hi. Do you have any other power supply? The computer PSUs are switching type and might have "not so clean" voltages causing the jitter. Bye, Moebius
  3. Hi daxliniere Do you have specs for this display? Bye, Moebius
  4. Hmm.. Did your n00b test pass ok? Looks like it. ;D (tell me if I'm wrong) So, to the next step. M
  5. Hi. Hubi's loopback device has its own control application, so you can patch "real" midi ports to into virtual ones, right? Huh.. I hope it works. Just patch the real midi input thru virtual cables to B-4 input. Bye, Moebius
  6. Hi. The pot is working as a voltage divider. Say, You have GND at left side of the pot and Vcc (+5VDC) on the right = the pot turned to left (end position), the left pin and the center pin = 0V, pot turned to right (end position), the left pin and the center pin = 5V.. should be around 2,5V at the middle of the turn. Bye, Moebius p.s. Hmm.. just started to think.. are you sure you have a linear potentiometer?
  7. Hi. This is not problem found in a stock (unmodified) code. Please check your hardware. Does your pot have GND+VCC connected properly? Bye, Moebius
  8. Hi. It's not only about hardware modules connected, but the application that is running on the PIC. TK has decided to add possibility (code) to use pots with MB64E - that's why it works :) Bye, Moebius
  9. There are some differences, but it doesn't prevent using CEM3378 in similar multimode configuration as 3372.. all the gain cells have output taps. Keep ya hands off of SSM2044s.. I might need some for my Polysix.. :D Bye, Moebius
  10. Hi. Switch it off from the "MIDI Config. submenu" (you do have a LCD connected?) or alternatively make your configuration with merger disabled with vmidibox64 (http://www.midibox.org/mios_tools/) and send it to your midibox. Bye, Moebius
  11. Yes, the SID modules remain the same. (Well.. unused audio inputs are shown as grounded and the last SID module has a cap added between +5VDC and GND contacts) The schematic shows 9VAC from the C64 powersupply first rectified to DC (by B40C800), filtered by additional caps and that 7809 regulator has it's "common" pin connected to +5VDC so the output referenced to ground is 14VDC. And this is then regulated down by SID modules. Bye, Moebius p.s. Soo nice to see you here, Mr. Velcro ;)
  12. It's easier for you to search the internet for "78L09 datasheet" ;) Bye, Moebius
  13. Seems like it's not yet implemented. Well, here's some more info for TK: http://www.chd-el.cz/index.php?id=119&lngid=cs (no english translation yet, but the images show clearly the timings and start/stop ect. signals) Bye, Moebius
  14. Hi. Yes. First upload MIOS to your core and then modify change_id application to match your target ID (ie. to reflect the new core ID) and then compile, convert and upload it to the core. No problem! ;) There are newbies and there are newbies.. Your questions are simple and easily answered. (versus Too many, mixed up questions, not explaining the problem properly ect.) No - MIOS is the same. It's a sort of Operating System layer, that handles lowlevel I/O, midi ect. functions to the applications on top of it. Bye, Moebius
  15. Hi. 3mm drill bit. Use a hole as a guide and spin it carefully with your fingers. Don't drill a hole, but just enough to take a way the copper. Bye, Moebius
  16. NOTE: single posting in the subject is enough. Otherwise forum becomes more cluttered and searching for a certain thread more difficult. Thank You, Moebius
  17. Ok. I used "ask seller a question" function and inquired about CE marking (which it obviously doesn't have) and if it's tested to comply with European electric safety regulations. And reminded that selling products that are not tested is illegal + asked to remove the item. Bye, Moebius
  18. Ah.. and it's mains powered: It's probably downright illegal in EU to sell mains powered equipment that's not tested to conform with EU Electric Safety regulations. In a case of an accident, the seller is held responsible for all the damage. Bye, Moebius
  19. Yes, you found an error! As TK says, schematics are always the reference, so the core page has IC2 and IC3 mixed up. Bye, Moebius
  20. Damn! I got caught ;D (Eh, sorry folks.. not been in a midiboxin' mood lately) Search main.asm for "deadband", modify line: movlw 0x07 ; set deadband to 7 to movlw 0x15 ; set deadband to 15 See: http://www.midibox.org/forum/index.php?topic=5272.msg32427#msg32427 Soo, this also drops the resolution to 6bits Bye, Moebius
  21. No, I think.. just search for SID and joystick. I think You'll find needed code modifications from there. Bye, Moebius
  22. Well, Of Course! :) By not using the connector and the protocol used by PSX, but directly connecting joystick and buttons to midibox. M
