Die SIDs ziehen so wenig Strom, dass du die ganz ohne Probleme an den 7809 anschießen kannst. Der 7805 für die Cores wird allerding schon etwas warm werden, vor allem, wenn Du ein LCD mit Backlight angeschlossen hast. 10V x ?mA wollen erst mal vernichtet werden ;) Wenn Du auf deinem selbstgeätzen Board eh schon alle Masse-Leitungen zusammenführst, könntest Du dort auch gleich deine Sternmasse haben. Sprich: Führe dort alle deine Massen zusammen (auch Die vom Netzteil). Gruß, Raphael

Du brauchst pro 8 Motorfader ein Core Modul (mehr kann ein Core einfach nicht ansteuern). Für 24 Kanäle als 4 Core Module! Bendenke bitte auch, das pro LC-Modul (pro 8 Fader) eine eigene MIDI-Verbindung zum Computer bestehen muss. Das verlangt das LC (MackieControl) Protokoll so. Für 24 anäle wirst Du also 4 MIDI INs und 4 MIDI OUTs an deinem PC/MAC brauchen.

Yes, this is wrong. You have to place the caps between Vdd (+5V) (which is pin 16 of every 74HC595) and ground. Take a look at the schematics. These are the reference (as Thorsten always says): http://www.ucapps.de/mbhp/mbhp_doutx4.pdf So just connect pin 16 of ever 74HC595 with GND (Vs). Look again at the schematics. It's the one at J1. So place the cap between Vd and Vs like all the others but as near as possible to J1 (from where the supply voltage comes). Raphael

Ja, das stimmt. Aber das Hex-File ist ja auch die eigentliche Applikation und wird nur für den SysEx Upload mit einem Perl-Script in das Syx Format gewandelt. ??? ??? ??? Das ist mir jetzt neu. Jeder Applikation liegt doch auch das HEX File bei. Das heißt immer main.hex. Gruß, Raphael

Versuchs doch mal mit MIOSStudio (http://mios_studio.midibox.org/). Das hat so ein praktisches Autostart-Feature. D.h. sobald der Core seine erste Meldung schickt, wird der Upload automatisch gestartet. Keine Hektik mehr ;D Machs wie pwx sagt: Leg das ganze aml für 1-2 Tage weg. Meistens findet man dann den Fehler sofort ;D Raphael

Ich könnte dir das schon draufladen (und vor dem Zurückschicken auch mal kurz in meinem SEQ testen). Schick mir einfach ne PM. Langfristig solltest Du aber zusehen, das der Upload klappt. Es gibt ja öfter mal Updates mit neuen Funktionen ;D Gruß, Raphael

I think thats the point. Is the SID sound quality (in technical meaning) worth balanced outputs? Only if you use really long wires... Concerning the opamp solution: If you are speaking of adding warmth then you'll have to use a transformer. Just my 2ct. Raphael
