Salut, elle est finie, elle est belle, elle marche, mais elle refuse d'obéir au meta events switch bank ! L'idée : 4 boutons qui chargent chacun une banque. Je les assigne donc au metas "switch to bank n°X ou Y. Chaque banque a des caractéristiques de canal midi différentes, rien a faire si je presse un bouton de banque les canaux ne changent pas :-/ Notez que la commande "request bankstick" de Vmb64 fonctionne correctement ??? (les boutons sont testés OK) Mon analyse : 1- Je suis une brèle qui oublie un truc évident 2- y'a une finesse dans les meta events qui m'échappe (genre le ON only/ ON/OFF ou Toggle ?) 3- Je jouerai avec 4 canaux seulement pour l'instant :P Merci pour des idées !! defred

Okay I got it, I managed to write my 4 banks no problem. BUT, it seems I can't switch between banks by assigning meta event on the four switch. What I've done is assigning my four pushs to switchbank meta, each one loads "its" bank (1 to 4), banks have specific channel range for the controllers, so all this setting up, the channel never changes when pressing a "bank button". Any ideas ? (Mios 1.5b, mb64 2.2) defred

J'ai choisi d'éclater a coup de scie sauteuse des vieux capots de PC, tordus avec un étau et des bons gros coups de masse souple, elle est donc en métal ! Je ne le recommande a personne c'est super chiant, perçage, assemblage, testage, TOUT est plus chiant en métal ! La prochaine fois je fais du bois c'est plus joli et ça sent bon :D ouala man, c'est de la mettalurgie mon truc (j'espère qu'au moins elle sera effectivement solide, j'ai l'intention de lui en faire baver !) defred

Je pense que l'astuce c'est effectivement de se faire passer pour une boite (c'est simple faut inventer un numéro de siret et un code ape qui correspond a l'activité electronique) sinon passer par une boite sympa qui veux bien faire la commande, mais a tout les coups faut commander des quantités de fou ! SO happy to have finished it, still have some bankstick issues to solve, and have to find some cheap but good knobs (for the moment I'll get 7 of them from my marshall amp which do not need them anymore :)) Thanks to all of you leading me here and there, learned tons of great stuff, will certainly build a minimal LTC module to get at least the midi out monitor. again "My ears get every sound, And now my eyes can see !" Salut a tous trop content de poster un message positif, je vous fais part de son accomplissement enfin total. Foin de jitter, moins encore de comportements bizarroides ! PLus que quelques truc de bankstick a régler et c'est bon. Reste a trouver des boutons sympa qui coutent pas grand chose, a ce sujet je me demandais si les distributeurs de tables de mixages étaient assurés sur le matos qu'ils vendent ? ;D Et les vendeurs d'amplis Marschall humm, sont beaux les boutons marschall ! juste une blague... trop happy time Je post des photos dès que j'ai les boutons (pour l'instant elle ressemble d'avantage à un porquépic malade qu'a un bijoux de haute technologie). defred

Hi there all, I was wondering if it could be possible to connect a simple midi out led monitor directly on the core ? The idea is (I can live without it) it would be cool that at least one LED tells me that the box is On, and if its monitoring the midi out, I'll be aware if some infos failed to be sent. thanks defred By the way, I found a new set of potis for my box, I'll try setting up the AIN again today. I it know must be a heavy newbie question, how can I send the config I build with VMidibox64 to a specific bank in bankstick ? I have no LCD, so I need to configure and save once for all the 8 or 16 banks I need, and then switch between them during performance. I cannot assure my bankstick circuit is functionnal (It looks so, quite simple 2 CL256 mounted according to the bankstick chaining schema on ucapps.de), so maybe there's a software trick to see if the banksticks are indeed functional ? thanks for any hint... I do like to configure my box with Vmidibox (instead of diving deep inside the assembler files, but I can do it okay), but the bankstick section of the soft looks not really ready :-/ defred

Hi d2k, Well after lot of searching I found that the core works well, because when connecting four faders (which are different) it works great. Today I also learned that the pots could work, if I push a little with my finger on the central pin, looks like a micro-false-contact it's weird. Fact is I tryed to make some pics of it, but I only have a webcam, and the result is useless for troubleshooting anything, If I manage to get a good camera I do lot of pictures ;). But the pots are connected as told in the ucapps web (what need grounding has it), I really think there's no problems at least on the core. But since I can trigger the bug simply by connecting pots or disable it connecting sliders, I think the problem is here, my pots are obviously not really reliable since they need my finger to do the job ! (shame on you nearby-electronic-dealer !!!), I'll order some radiohm-recommended-pots to check again if the core takes it, then I'll reintroduce the AIN and maybe soon I'll finish my dreamed box. I read somewhere in the uccaps site that NO you can't use log pots on Mbox project. But since you're here, tell me how do I measure/see if a pot is wether a LIN or LOG one ? (I only have a blurry idea of it means :-/) I'll be interested in being sure of that once for all. defred

If I did the test correctly (that is : one pin of the multimeter on either left or right pin of the pot, and the other on the central pin) yes the max value I read on pot is 10Kohm. As I look at it I can see no infos on it except a "B10K", joinning a picture maybe inspiring ! Thought maybe my electronic dealer mistakes himself and gave me logarythmic pots, could it act weird like this ? I really don't have a clue here, just thinking of buing 4 radiohm pots you recommend to test them and see (but don't know where to buy them now)... By the way does Reichelt takes order for foreign countries (as opposite to their site which is really german, really hard to understand what I click on there  ;)) ? Because they really have the lowest price on potis and I'm out of my budget now ! thanks for support ! defred
