Hi! I'm building a MIDI filter using this design: http://www.ucapps.de/midifilter.html I want the unit to be self-powered via MIDI like the Midisolutions' products: http://www.midisolutions.com/products.htm They mention in the FAQ that the optoisolator is removed in the MIDI input of circuit to be able to power the device. http://www.midisolutions.com/faqs.htm (Q: Will inserting MIDI Solutions products in my setup cause ground loops?) I want to remove the optoisolator in the Filter design but I do not know what remaining parts are needed for the circuit to function properly. Could some electronically skilled person help me with a proper solution? Regards, MrJingle
