ooh yes neo-lo-fi picture !! 8)
yes stick the jack in your nose
and ready to play :-*

ok good question !
and i have the solution :P
excuse my english, if u don't understand something
it's surely because of my expression, but i try.
1- the first problem i have encountered is when i touch a sensor
the message 0,127,0,127,0,127... was send in loop
to resolve this problem i have simply connect the 0v of the midibox
to the ground.
2- ok at this stade, when i touch a sensor it send correctly the values
like a button. (but very quickly and intuitively)
but when i touch to or more sensors, there's no more message send
or messages are send randomely.
to fix this problem, i simply plug myself ;D
with a jack in the belt directly to my skin
connected to the ground ;D
Now my body was perfectly at 0v, the computer
& the midibox also !! and i can touch 32 or more
sensors, without any problem, like a button.
i search a better way to solve this problem, but for now
i plug (myself) & play ;D
Now i'm on way to design my definitive midibox
with two circular "camembert" of 7 & 9 parts
and some linear touchsensors of 12 parts... 8)
From where come this purple colour of your board ? ???

Hi thorsten !
i don't know how to create a meta ?
i have read this file : midibox64_sfb_table.txt
and i know i can set Meta Event values in "Edit event" in my Midibox.
but i don't know "where" and "what" i must do ?
thanks

Hi !!
after many tests, with the Vmidibox64...
i can't understand how two buttons can send Program Change + / -
with a potentiometer, i'm able to send Program Change (0...127)
but it's not very easy to set up like this.
With the button i can only set the Program Change to a specific value. ???
Anybody know how to Increment/Decrement Program Change ?
thanks

exactly, on my definitive midibox
i will tinned the pads ;)
and varnish each pad with a varnished conducting.
here is my testing board, if it's help !? (10x15cmx300dpi)
the circle is approximatively 9cm.

is what you wanna know ?
-
i have made it.
simply draw the layout with Eagle.
and use the copper side for both components
& sensors.
it cost about 6 €uros, (it's just my testing board)
Board, Leds, Resistors, that's all
(if you already have the perchlorure, etc...)
it's more clear ?
-
:D
no problem, probably tomorrow !!
-
it works perfectly, thanks !! 8)
(it was a ground problem...)

here is a small video (without sound)
we can't really imagine the ease of use with
this video, it's a real pleasure. :-*
the three sensors of the bottom are in "toggle" mode
and the three on the top are in standard "hit" mode.
http://mercury.walagata.com/w/jazzypidjay/touchsensors.avi
Now make a beat with my computer
is really easy like make it on a table :o
-
i can share all things that you want...
but i have don't understand some questions ??? (i'm french)
all that i can say for the moment is,
I have simply use the touchesensor fonction of the DIN (with 47k & pin 14...)
and made a copper board, that including the led for the DOUT
(useful for the Toggle Mode)
and copper for the DIN.
Sensors & Leds works perfectly !! and it's the fastest way to trigger sounds
that i know !!! :o :o WOW!!
if i pressed two, three, four or more sensors at the same time, no problem
i received all the notes in Cubase, without any latency !!! great !!!
it's definitively the heart of my future midibox, soon finished.
what exactly do you wanna know ? if i can help you...
-
i'm sorry the touchsensors are already polyphonics !!!
Great ;D
Thanks very much Thorsten, you change my music.
-
Great, thanks very much :D

Hi
i love touchsensors :o !!!
thanks for this Thorsten you change my way of life !! 8)
with this test board, i can make toms rolls or phat breakbeats
with only one finger, and a small circular movement !! :o
BUT... :-\
when i touch two sensors in the same time, i heard one or the other sound randomly.
is there a way to have touchsensors acting like buttons ??? (polyphonic?)
I wish that it be possible by any means.... :'(
-
thanks ;)

Hi !
Anybody know if it's possible to modify the parameters
of all the banks in only one send ?
because i wanna set 2 buttons in all of my 128 banks
and don't wanna believe that send 128 times is the only solution ?
thanks very much.
-
???
i think i haven't understand ::)
-
hi !
anybody know if all the expression pedal are built
with 10kOhm potentiometer inside ?
can i buy any model of expression pedal ?
thanks very much.

hi !
it's strange, when i plug my midibox directly on my cheap casio synth
the touchsensor work very well !! (great things... :D)
but when i plug my midibox into my soundcard (Echo Layla24)
the touchsensor send 0,127...in loop, even if i change the touchesensor sensibility .. ???
any idea ?
-
my touchsensor now (testing) is a simple
copper / epoxy board with the appropriate resistor
and without the DIN resistor, like recommended on the site.
so, i keep on searching the solution.
thanks thorsten ! :)

Hi !
(MB64 & Mios 1.7)
i have test the touchsensor
with sensibility set from 1 to 32 and
it still send 0, 127, 0, 127... in loop when i touch it. ???
any idea ? can i really use a touchsensor like a button ?
or it's normal ?
thanks very much ;)
-
ok thanks you very much. :)
-
nothing new ? :'(
nobody can explain how to program
bank buttons in the mios ? :-[
-
:)
- Yes i have look to the schematic to DINX4
and i have connect the touchsensor (copper plate) correctly
but it still send 0,127,0,127,0,127 in loop, until i have the finger on the copper ?
it's the normal fonction of it ? really strange.
- For the dedicated Bank Up & Down button, anybody have the time to tell me more
about USER_DIN_NotifyToggle, and MB64_SFB_Handler_02 ?
after many try, i'm unable to realize my dream :'(
Thanks Thorsten !
Polyphonic Touchsensors ?

i think is impossible, but don't know
for sure 127 sensors, are not easy to build
and a linear slider, it's surely a better way..
