  1. May we have some more info/news about it?
  2. Looking good. But, is there enough clearance between those headers for flat cable connectors?
  3. You must check this robot. It is so cool and funny. I would love to have one to bang with me. ;D http://letsmakerobots.com/node/112
  4. ;D ;D ;D
  5. supraanimo, thanks for reply. I was using Reason myself before and when I decided to continue with Live I still used MIDI loops created in Reason. MIDI editing in live sucks big time! So what I was doing I exported all MIDI loops from Reason and import them and rearrange in Live as a clips. So, when you rewire the Reason you can manipulate with MIDI clips and do what you normally do with audio except you are sending those MIDI back to Reason. That way you can tweak those knobs in Reason as you used to. I think Reason is really not program for live performance so it should be treated that way but it is really nice for editing. If you band mate adjust the way he work you two can have really good live performance using Live rewired with Reason for extra parameter tweaking and everything should work good and stable.

Well, I was hoping she want make fool out of me, but she did it. Fuc**** fish! ;D
  7. Thank you wilba. I checked that wikpedia page about wire wrapping... Didn`t know about that thechnique. :P Just look at this... sick!!

    Dieses Blickversprechen. Gute Arbeit!
  9. Just 4 SIDs at the time? I would buy it if it was at least 16. So disappointed :-\ Now seriously, that Wire Wrap work is superb. I`m proud of you! ;D How is the insulation stripped? Just with soldering iron?
  10. What do you mean? What is that you cannot edit in Reason if rewired to Live?
  11. Yeah, having all IO would make this PCB more useful. I`m glad you decided to add it. :)
  12. Ultra, thank you for the snapshot. It is well packed and pretty dense so it should not take much space. 150x75 sounds nice! :) You want be using gate outs?
  13. I agree but I never seen 2 MBSEQ with same buttons. I think every one of us want to use different type. I don`t believe it really takes months to do CS. If you spend some time and make something else than veroboard it could save you much time and effort. I would never advise using veroboards for mounting parts for MBSEQ. I drawn my PCBs in Corel and friend did Eagle PCBs that i believe he will publish once he finish it but none of it is super universal solution. He designed his for specific button that is not very common, and I designed mine for small 6x6 common button that I`ll use to mount custom cap. So, my point is that it is very hard to justify most of peoples tastes. Probably much harder than Wilba managed with his wilbabeast. Not all of people wanted to use his CS but all wanted to use base PCB! I believe same would be with SEQ.
  14. True, and I hate it!
  15. ...useful to us, but for most people it is nothing more than junk. I love junk! :)
  16. It don`t have to be really complete, more like a rough preview to get clue how did you arranged IO and such. But, I`m sure people would be interested as we all hate wires and we all love integrated solutions for SEQ and SID projects as much as we love modules for controllers. ;)
  17. Sure, that is what I said... "Ordering cheaper parts China or elswere is OK, but waiting for few missing resistors to come from your favorite online shop so you can finish the project sounds strange to me." :) I didn`t meant in general, i meant shopping for parts. It has nothing to do with you. I was curious, as I noticed that everything form a chair as a way of living for more, and more people and that is not very good. I`m not satisfied by time I spend going out myself but I`m trying. ;)
  18. I am using the higher method but I bend the pins 90deg. so it is much lower. Those machined headers are pretty expensive in my country and that is only reason I don`t use them if I need much of them (any MB project)
  19. I noticed much of western people rarely go out of your house for parts when building something. They often wait for few cheap parts, that every shop stocks, to appear at the door and keeping the project on hold just because of that. On one hand it is OK as you don`t lose the time hunting it, but for some cases it is better and quicker to go to real shopping and harvest what you need so you can have it built before postman arrives. Ordering cheaper parts China or elswere is OK, but waiting for few missing resistors to come from your favorite online shop so you can finish the project sounds strange to me. Is it laziness or way of living (from chair)? I read on other forums people are ordering parts several times for one project from online shop because every time they realized some are not right or footprint or some other reason. I think it is hard to get from first all bits you need to make something. If the pin spacing or packing is critical I take the PCB with me so I can test part it in shop. I manage to tour few shops and find right part, and find it easier than browsing the shop with parts with no picture and just datasheets for download.
  20. It would help if you publish some layout picture. I`m interested in general but it depends of few factors.
  21. I think black is best choice also because it is most universal and fits any colour. I dont believe that blue knob on picture would look good with green LCD. Sometimes 2 pieces of same colour but different tone can look like don`t match at all.
  22. Great! I`l stop working on my controller until I get these. I find them much more suitable than Albs ones. Thanks Nebulja. PS. Me and kokiPsiho will probably join the orders in one package as we both live in Belgrade. I`ll pay for both
  23. Congratulations Pablop. ;)
  24. Probably true, but it aint gonna look cool as those egg boxes. ;D
