Does anybody have PIC burner PDF ready for print? I noticed published brd file is not complete, missing ground and exporting from eage is giving me bad results. Donet know why. Scaling is different when I open it in Photoshop. Don`t know why. Thanks in advance. Sasa

Is there way to controll transport of Ableton Live with encoder (jog). I couldn`t find any learn function for it.

Did I say they work very good! You can leave or remove centralisation spring from it. Buton can be usefull 2. There`s post somewhere on the forum about it.

As I can see in datasheet provided, joysticks are same ones I got from Sony Playstation joypad. I bought some on a fleamarket for les than 1 Euro. And you find 2 in one joypad. Recycle!

I am having trouble reasembling the MIOS source. As I dont have much experienced with this I tought maybe I made some mistake so I tryed to reasemble the orignal, unchanged code but it was without sucsess. To figured out what went wrong I try to reasemble midibox64 aplication that I changed for using 4x16 LCD earlier. It went OK. Here is the zipped 3 files that was in the original MIOS src directory after using MPASMWIN. http://www.recycleordie.co.yu/midibox/errors.zip Anybody have a clue what is the problem?

It is NI Traktor controller. You can see 2 pitch pots, 2 jogs, crossfader...

I just wanted to do something cool with two extra lines of my junk LCD, but it really doesn`t metter now. I respect TK`s work as much as you do. If I really needed to hack copyright I could find people do it for me, but it wasnt my idea. My intention wasn`t to remove any part of copyright notice as you surely understand, my intention was adding 8 more letters under it. I dont belive it is bad at all. Look coryright notice in the footer of this forum, you can add beside copyright notice information who made skin for it and you can see it in the so meny forums. Nobody ever think it is not OK as long as you keep the original copyright notice! You know what... I don`t belive lots of peope here interested much in talking about this things, so let`s forget all shit and rather talk about other ideas. I figured at the end it is delicate theme so lets just drop it ike smash said. Sory for bothering with my sensless ideas. Cheers

We are still talking about moral issue of screen modification??? Come on guys, let me know how to do it. If TK say it is not OK I`ll restore it like it is now. I feel like criminall on trial here. I dont, and cant take any credits for anybody`s work espessially TK`s.

Thanks man, I`m glad you like it. Junk Box is part of my Recycle or Die project. It is made of various electronic parts (junk). Weals together with PCBs are from 5 inch disk motors, butons are from PC keyboard and poker machine. Weals for now are not in use as I still waiting for encoders to mount it underneeth. Box is not complete yet so I didn`t send immages to TK. I just post it here for preview. About the screen... I hope my idea for screen modification is OK, if not i will ask you to help me insert aditionall page for junkbox, but i think it make not much sense.

This is Junk Box I want to add spashscreen. I only have one screen with copyright and a lot of space on my 2x16 LCD, so I think why not to add my box name beside it. I think it is better to use one screen for both because I don`t want 2 seconds splashscreen for MIOS and aditional 2 seconds for Junkbox screen. It is not big difference in term of time but why split it on 2 screens? I want to power it up...splash... and work with it. Hardly I can put my name instead of TK`s copyright and commercialise these boxes ;D @stryd_one my aplication is not Junk Box, Junk Box is just a name of that funny trash case! I only modified main.asm to have 4 lines LCD and thats it. At the end I`ll respect opinion of TK. If he think it is not OK to add my box name on same screen with MIOS, I`ll ask no more questions.

It should be part of the MIOS if I get it right. When you power up the midibox you see MIOS version and copyright...right? I want to customise that screen and print also "Junk Box" somewhere which is name of my midibox. Aplication is midibox64, but i think it is not relevant.

Edrums are not mechanical drums at all. As I say, I want to drive mechanical drums over the midio128, not to trigger midi over the pads. By the way, I made edrums but I didnt find documentations about testing and and troubleshooting. Edrums forum dont have so good community like this forum so I dont find it very usefull. I just power it on and couldnt get any signals after beating the piezo element, so I just leave it aside for some time...

What electromagnets or other atenuators should I use for MIDI controlled beaters. Somebody have experience using MIDIO128 for controlling some percussions?

It is just between +5/GND. I didn`t wanted to mess around with data lines in case it could influence on signals or something. It also doesn`t flash.

I made a wire loop on my bankstick and I added indication LED so it looks cooler.

What a Beautifull display. Looks really great on your case. Too bad you are using those buttons. I think you should try to find some ,eastetically, more proper ones.

I really have problem identifiing "DEFAULT_LCD_SIZE" My logic says it is in mios_v1_8.zip or in skeleton_v1_8.zip. I found it in skeleton_v1_8.zip but couldn`t find "DEFAULT_LCD_SIZE" ???

Since I send sysx without problem, and it stays in I think It is working. Or you think I need to upload lcd7_clcd no matter it is working now. I like Idea about Wiki but seams it is not live enough. I`ll do my best to improve it and share my experiences there.

Firstly, I must thank you and also apologise you for taking your presious time. LCD works now! As I said before, I checked conection LCD>CORE several times. My meter beeped every time I made circuit and I was 100% sure that wires are OK. Now I am confused. I use Floppy cable with original conector on the LCD side conected to the LCD over the SIL connector soldered to the LCD, and the other side also similar SIL connector. Whac could be the problem? Sorry again for bothering you, I am sure I am going to need your help again since a lot of things are not clear enough to me. I have one question, how can I take adventage of my 4x16 LCD. I fount that option somewhere but I am not sure can I use it without reasembling the codes. I am afraid of that a little... :-[
