i'm in for one baseboard kit w/ PICs

edit: i'm also in for one control surface kits, if/when they become available. (except encoders, knobs, and display, which i have already obtained via the bulk orders here- if that separation of kits is possible. if not, then i'll source the rest of the CS myself... ugh)

i voted for alternate, but i'm definitely in for two sets no matter what design is used.

honestly, i'd prefer the original one if the font were a little more clear (bold/bigger??), and the waveforms were graphical rather than text. both look amazing though. :)

Sorry to bring up this kinda old thread, but i'd just like to say that this would be a dream come true to have this and the SNES as self-contained synthesizers with banksticks. the NES (as well as the SNES) is the reason i got into synthesizers.

i just bought the MIDINES from wayfar.net (waiting for it to get here), but that doesn't seem like it has patch storage.

are there any projects, midibox or not, that have the 2A03 as a self-contained synth?
