Thanks for replying. See, The main taks of the Loopback is connecting various controllers to various synths. what I need to do is to connect various controllers to ONE synth. And I am having a hard time to clear it for myself logically. I am an electronic engineer, amature electronic musician and programmer and use to deal with connections (and not that dumm, as it may seems on first sight :D). But I just do not see it.! Shoot!

It's definitely easy when you know what you are doing! ;D Who can argue :-) All I need is to connect my controller (which is USB, though it doesn't matter) to my computer to play live B-4 stand-alone version, because by it's characteristics my laptop is on the lower edge of "acceptable", so I'd rather wont be using any hosts on it. And I also want to be able to transpose B-4. I installed the programm, that you recoomended, but still unable to solve this puzzle. So, basically it boils down to the task of connecting outputs of two devices (one would be that little program and the other one would be my keyboard) to the same input of B-4 simultaneosly. Thanks for trying to help me. Really appreciate it.

Hey, Alkeh, there is a funny thing: when I start it, it grabs the port and my controller can not be connected to that port. So it looks like it this app or controller and while I can use the program by itself I I can't use it with the keyboard! I really hate to bug you, but maybe you have an answer? Thanks in advance.

This is too good to be true! Are there any OCXs and or DLLs involved? Is there anything I can do for you? How they say - my appreciation would know no bondaries until they are within the reasonable bondaries ;)

Thanks for answering. The main idea is NOT using any other software. I am using standalone B-4 and maybe something else and I need it to play live. I try to avoid any hosts, because I'm planning on using a really weak computer with not much speed and mempry, so I need it to be as un-loaded as possible. I would buy the program like this if I could find it. :-)

Hello. I need to be able to tharspose the software synth (B-4), which I play from external controller. So, I think I need an executable file with the form with two pairs of buttons and a text box indicating a number against each pair. One pair buttons should switch (and indicate it) channels from the MIDI input and another should send the transpose message to the choosen channel and indicate the current status. To simplify, it could transpose all channels at the same time - not a big deal. It needs to be for Windows. Anybody?
