Your presence isn't unwanted at all! you seem to have the most important requirement for midiboxing: you're able to read/speak english. you only have to read. it's really not difficult. I've built my first Midibox when i was 15 years old!

wenn Du's mit Imkjet-selbstklebefolie versuchst: Bedrucke unbedingt die ganze Folie, bzw. lass keine stellen durchsichtig. Ich hab den fehler bei meinem SID gemacht... übel, übel... viele kleine luftblasen.. :-\

I know it's a cheap&dirty solution.... but at least it IS a solution. ...and you safe money for tapesimulation-vsts ;)

hmm... what about some mechanical stuff? you need a music cassette tape, cut it, and make a loop. then take 2 heads, one head for writing and anotherone for reading (e.g. from an old walkman.) I think you can imagne the rest. I know it's quite LoFi, that's why I've first posted it when I knew that even the experts (theProf,AC) don't have a solution ;)

yeah... unfortunately the SID doesn't have sine-waves :( and with triangles it's not the same..

:) Mich freuts auf jeden Fall immer wenn Leute gleich in ihrem ersten Post eine funktionierende Midibox präsentieren können. Wieder ein Beweis dafür dass eigentlich alles hier dokumentiert ist :)
