A picture would be useful. I'm in the same boat, having got my kit today. The sid board seems straight forward, though i'm not sure if there is any specific way to mounnt the caps in c1 and c2. The resistors under the PIC may cause me a problem ...... we'll see.

A few months ago i got a sid chip, and last month i noticed the smash tv website was back online. I ordered and paid for some parts to build a small midibox sid but haven't heard a thing. I wrote and asked when i could expect to recieve what i'd purchased, but have still heard nothing at all. does anyone know what is going on with this?
