[2 Optimized PSU Probs/Questions]

Hello,

This is the first time I ever held a multimeter. I have 2 questions:

1) I have successfully gauged 5v coming from one of the pins. But I cannot seem to find the 9v AC anywhere. Any suggestions?

2) I would like to reuse the C64 power switch but I have NO IDEA how to hook it up. Looking at the diagram, it seems that it is connected at all four pins. But I can't figure out which ones.

I am using the schematic for the "optimized" PSU and noticed that the LED has 3 pins?

I have some LEDs lying around, but they are 2 pin. Can I use these somehow? If not, what kind of power LED do I need?

[What kind of buttons for menu?]

Hi, I was wondering what type of button is recommended for the menu in the minimal build for the SID. I assume these are momentary button switches correct? How do these look:

What do they mean by tactile? Maybe they are too small?

Anyone know where I can get those square, rubbery soft push buttons? I'm in the US and I can't find em on Mouser.

[Panel Labelling AFTER build]

does anybody have any suggestions for panel labelling after the synth is built? Stickers? Paint? Masking Tape?  :-\

Actually, all jokes aside, I am looking for a permanent and aesthetic solution without having to dissemble everything and send it to a shop.

which dremel would you recommend? is it capable of cutting slots for faders?

Does anybody know where I can find out more about cutting holes, especially non-cirular ones, in my aluminum chassis? I assume that drilling holes for the LEDs, POTs etc is simple, but what about the LCD and square shaped things? How do I drill those?
