Hi ! Is it possible to use the MAX5250 D/A from Maxim instead of the MAX525 ? I ordered free samples from Maxim. ;D The only difference between the MAX5250 and 525 is that the MAX5250 is a 10 Bit converter. It is much cheaper than the 525 ;) Iam working on a triac circuit,... ;D By the way, i finished my first SID station with complete CS last week. ;D lg waggy

Hi people! Which shift register should i use for driving the SID chip? Is it better to use Shiftregisters with TTL or Cos output? Is their and difference between 74HC595N and 74HCT595N? thanx waggy
