  1. I just resoldered the whole thing...it drew me a lot of blood and sweat but i managed to bend the kathodes backward and the anodes forward. Then i had just enough room to solder it again. It works now and I just found out that the LFOs are displayed in realtime on the LEDs! I didn´t know that...it´s so cool! And Mr modnaR...U make very cool tracks. Thanks for the help.
  2. I would have to solder the whole matrix again... and that is not very easy since the legs of the LEDs are arranged wrong now...the legs are in rows and the shorter leg (katodes) would have to be connected in rows but the anode-legs are in the way... :-\
  3. Hi everyone, I managed to solder and build my MB SID Step C without any problems so far. Everything works exept the LED-Matrix - all the LEDs are on all the time and they flicker. I guess the reason is, that I soldered the Matrix "transposed", that means I soldered all the anodes in rows and the kathodes in colums... ::) :o It´s supposed to be the outer way round. Has anyone digged deep enougt into the sw-routines of the matrix to know, how much work it would be to solve that problem in the software? I gues i would have to invert all the output signals. Thanx so far, Laplace
