  1. Yup I would need some easy project file without the boutiqe stuff. If we only compare the 2 as hosts, which is better , digital performer or logic ?
  2. ok guys , I think I get into logic, cause: I have main monitors, I have to accept tracks given to me for mastering thats all folks ;D
  3. ablaton is for techno vikingz ;D
  4. I think I get it what you talk about, thats really easy in FL. Actually its perfect as it is , and if it could be modular phew. That would be best ever. I cant beleive there is no contender to it in macworld???
  5. r you sure ??? ..."808 kick drums make the girlies get dumb"
  6. well not tried ableton, but tought about it ( running FL as VST from inside ;D ) I am really, really step sequencer oriented. I want to b able to edit 1/32 th , 1/64 & stuff. It is really easy in FL, you have the 16 steps rows, you pick another row and delay every step 50% , you get 1/32... I want stuff like, triggering LFO from step sequencer ... Trigger ADSR from step sequencer...
  7. logic has step sequencer ? I know its not cheap and express version has ugly limitations. What else? I dont need much more than step sequencer and trickey LFO thingies.
  8. doods, Im so embarassed about it , but... ffs, I think I buy a powermac G5... Vista Sp1 not fixes the audio disaster.. Is there anything like fruityloops worth investigating on that platform?
  9. not quite cause eq pots are unlikely to be 10 k linear, faders unlikely to be 10k linear :P not even worths investigating thats the sad truth. what you see is: "Why ? Ok, there is a lot of knobs and faders (at least of 400) " what I see is : reckless disregard of fine engineering
  10. daunting task, pipedream :]
  11. CV CV CV CV...
  12. downsampling would mean you skip every second sample, not the way to go imho. I would look into some phase stuff like BBD.
  13. wow thankx those live acts r teh blast
  14. only if it comes with a 303 (sorry ;D ) I would have to sell some things I would rather not do at the moment
  15. I have HDSP-4840 bargraphs from a big format audio mixer, these would be 500Usd alone so I was confused ;D
  16. my newb question: does it make sense to drive the usb receiver in async fashion and regenarete clock after its out of the box? In audio thats sensible to do with usb...
  17. i cannot see the price break down for the led bargraphs . ?
  18. yes Im am sure analog is the way to go... This is unlike loudspeaker crossover ( im into that) your pulse response here will degrade like shit because of 8th order filters. Too mcuh in the game to emulate that roland 350 for example. As I want *that* authentic sound not else I may want to buy it too .
  19. which vocoder VST is that? Im so dumb bout vocoder softies that I m somewhat sure I want a Roland 350 once , btw Im exceptionally good with synths and cant get the sucker accept my carrier wave or what and do somthing nice :P
  20. I mean.. Its also behringer, but the big mixer with internal effects and stuff. So it has "the" ledrings and bargraph leds. Ill make pictures today. I had the site , its a .co.uk company... So I filled sample request with fancy descriptions of AD transient digitiser and stuff but no response hehe.
  21. I have the motorfader assembly moogah used to sell around here, those are proper ledrings!!
  22. nah nah, what about video editing, you need at least 3 clips to make me buy your cd ( and funny shit as well ) LOOOOL
  23. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nqf1Cnbu2oI someone can do stuff like this I'll buy your CD !!! : DDDDDDDDDD
  24. TAS1020!!!!!! wow . That can be a full fledged audio interface... surely mass produced then...
