Dear All,
I am new here and I have a question concerning the protocol to be used with digital potentiometers for the purpose of "upgrading" a very old non-midi synthesizer to a midi compatible one.
The aim is to not change the original electronic schematic and to replace the analog potentimeters with digital potentiometers and to have these digital potentiometers controlled by a PIC.
But... there are at least 35 analog potentiometers to replace by digital ones and I don't know which protocol suits best for this job (I2C, SPI, other....) ?
Does someone has experience with this ?
Many thanks in advance !
