Still at the planning stage, what I really need is some CAD software, now in my last job I used to administrate IBM's CATIA but I think that will be a bit OTT, can anyone suggest anything else in a free "lite" version ?
( search engine for this site turned up nothing, but I do remember a 303 type design that mentioned some )

No sorry my fault.
I was day dreaming about the SID
I'm going to build a midibox64 controller
Mind you looking at this keyboard that I intend to use as a box I think it may be too thin !
After the mb64 I intend to continue to a mbsid , bit more reading to do first !

Okay read everything lots of times :P
Thing is the more I read the more I want to make a midibox sid !
Decided my prototype will be a core+ain_din for simplicity sake and I'll take it from there
Came across an old ibm as400 keyboard today that will be my donar case, all I need to do now is figure out whether to buy from Mike or Smash !

Alright guys, easy questions....I want to build a midi box controller.
At the moment I would like to keep it simple so maybe a few pots is all I need. I want to control vsti's in my DAW y'see.
I have had a look around and can see I need a core module, I found smashtv's site but I am in the UK, is there a uk equivelent site ?
Where is a good place to start, I'm hoping that the o level electronics I took years ago may come in handy
I'm looking for answers guys

Okay straight question , straight answer please
I want to build a midiboxsid , I was going to make a midibox64 but thought a synth would be more fun
I can see all the bits I need on mikes or smashtv's shops
MY question is.......do the kits from mikes come with SIDS included or do I need to find my own ?
:P
