  1. I'm still having the problem, I'm using traktor PRO1.2/1.1 after a short period of time the midibox start to get crazy, when I move a fader or when I press a button it change the value of the previous command. I tried to remove the output signal from traktor and disconnect also the input oh MB, but there is still the problem. Thank you in advance for the answer regards Alessandro
  2. Yes I'm using Traktor PRO, is the software having problems? regards Ale
  3. Hi thank you for the reply, I'm happy you appreciate my design. I checked ,the merger is off. What about the computer side? i'm using win xp, where I can find the control for MIDI forwarding? regards Alessandro
  4. Hi! The controller is base on MIDIBOX64E, it has 64 button, 40 potentiometer, 16 Encoders, 48 leds, 1 lcd. Once I finished the structure I uploaded the last MIOS mios_update_v1_9f.zip using MIDI-OX, this is the Operative system. After that I uploaded with MIOS-studio the midibox64 application from midibox64e_v2_2b.zip download section of ucapps. I don't know anything about programming, the only code I need to change was for the encoder to change to detent mode. Using sarge editor for MIDIBOX64E I assigned commads or note to every component and I connect DOUT (led) to MIDIEVENT to let Traktor send output signal and light the leds. The controller is working good with traktor PRO. I connected the midi in midi out to NI kontrol 1 audio interface. I noticed that once I used the buttons on the audiointerface that send midi signal on another channel, my midibox start to have problem of comunication. Problems like: I move a pot to value eg. 65 after that when I move another the last change it's value to 66. This also happens with button and leds. To solve this problem I connected the midibox with a usb to midi converter and turn off midi signal of the NI kontrol 1. This solves the problem for a period, but it happens again randomly, to solve it I disconnect the usb to midi converter and plug it again. I think the problem comes from the computer and not from midibox. Any ideas? sorry for the bad english. Regards Alessandro
  5. Ok I solved! I used vmidibox64e sarge editor. in the led option i put the midi status rec. WOW my box is finishedddd :)))
  6. Hello to everybody. I built a midibox64E with 64 button, 48 pot, 14 encoders. I uploaded the setup_midibox64 found in midibox64e_v2_2b.zip. Everything works fine. But as I'm completely ignorant in programming I face with a big problem. I want to use the controller with traktor 3 or traktor pro or ableton. I want the sync of led with the programs. With the original setup_midibox64 when I press a button the respective led light up. But there is no light up with event coming from traktor. I read a lot of post but I'm a bit confused. I found a post where Thorsten says to modify scr\midi643_preset.inc MB64E_Presets_LED_MAP db 0x00, 0x00 He said to modify 0x01-0x00 the first, 0x01-0x01 for the second... I tried changing this first two commands and I get reactions of leds from traktor midievent but in the wrong led. I can't totaly understand the meaning of the command and how it refers to pin and SR. Can please someone explain me it better? Thank you in advance for the help. P.S. As soon as my midibox the Nanotrak is full working I will write a little guide with all component price and place to order. Best regards Dj Nanotek
  7. i'm sorry for the long time, but my PIC is damage i'm waiting for a new one a try again with everything. I will let you know what will be but probably i will try to follow the asm or c way. Thank you
  8. Some suggestions?? ??? :)
  9. Ok so I'm not totaly confusing! I'm at the beginnig every little problem looks huge for me :) Do you know how can I modify a .ini and generate a working .syx? Thanks!
  10. Thank you for the reply! This morning I tried on a different computer a mac at work with active perl installed. I downloaded mk_syx.zip from midibox64e design page. The pakage contains different file examples and the script to convert ini to syx. The result after the script was the same only 64 line where converted. After that i opened the original syx files with a text editor to check what is inside. All the syx files in the zip have informations until the last line of the pot or encoder and nothing more. no led no buttons. What is my error? Are the files corrupted? Somebody have used them before? Sincerely Pesce
  11. Hallo to everybody I'm a newbie, I want to build a midibox64. I'm trying to modify the midibox64.ini and compile it with mk_syx script to generate a .syx file. To to this I downloaded active perl and I run in ms dos prompt the following script: c:\perl mk_syx.pl midibox64.ini as c:\ is the folder of the .ini file. The script starts correctly but it compiles only 64 lines of the code in particolar the pot lines and does't compile the [bUTTONS] part of the application. Does anyone know why it do like this? Thank you in advance for the help!
  12. Thanks for the answer! It is what I need to continue with the design. I will post a picture of my project this evening. Thanks again!
  13. Hallo to everybody here, I'm new user! I need to your help to understand a basic question. I read a lot posts about pot and MB64E and also the changelog of midibox64E (quote from there: Although MIDIbox64E has been designed for rotary encoders, it can now also handle with up to 64 pots/faders or up to 8 motorfaders. Pots and faders are mapped to the "encoder" entries 64-128. Example: if group width is 16, and group 1 is selected, encoders are using Entry 1-16, and pots are using entry 64-(number of pots) ) I want to realize e midi controller base on midibox64E with buttons, rotary encoder and pot. I'm new of DIY controller, I understand basic electronic but I want to avoid to burn a PIC because I don't know nothing about programming and laguages. I want to buy from smashtv all necessary modules CORE, DOUT,AIN... So the question is: can I have pot on midibox64E just wiring them in the right place and avoid PIC burning? Thanks for the answers Pesce
