  1. Hey all,

I don't post here much and don't want to feel as if I am spamming you guys but I have gear that might be wanted.

World wide buyers, if you are interested, I am more than happy to list as parts and put lower value to avoid customs duty etc (Moog Au only)

I have feedback on the Elektron Forum and here where I have traded and organized group buys etc. I also have 100 % excellent feedback on eBay & more than happy to share those details with you.

I can organize postage & deliver in person (expensive bits) to Brisbane, Gold Coast and Northern Rivers areas. local pick up also welcome.

    Minimoog Voyager XL

Mint, like new, suit new voyager buyer (still under warranty) functions flawlessly, with original box, manuals, PSU (all original contents) + I will throw in a heap of 1/4' colored patch cables, 3u users I will chuck in 20 1/4'-1/8' adapters.

This synth is a power house of a synth, the keyboard is amazing, one of the best I have played, pared with the X-Y-A touch surface and the ribbon controller this makes an incredible powerful improv controller. The modular aspect of this machine makes it an awesome centerpiece to your modular rig, 2 midi lfo's (one is not found on any other moog gear) touch surface & ribbon CV/gate control plus all the other good bits of control & useful routing options make her a great bit of gear. Its never left my home smoke free studio, never gigged and always covered after every use! I am super anal about looking after my gear!

    ^ $3500

    Elektron TM-1 turbo midi

    Good condition, original box etc

I have Fly fishing gear for sale too, but I don't think this is the right place to advertise

Any Questions, please don't hesitate in asking!

I have this advertised on Muffs & Elektron also.

    Thanks for looking

  3. Hi, I apologize in advance!!! as I did list some gear on Elektron users to trade / sell etc & sammich was one of those...

I completely forgot about sale / trade terms etc with these bits of gear, so I am sorry

I am not so sure about letting it go now as I have found this editor http://ucapps.de/midibox_sid_manual_ed.html and the only reason I was thinking about letting it go is I just did not gel with the interface side of things.

If I were to think about trading it, could I please have permission? though I might not let it go?

    Thanks in advance

  4. Hi all, for some reason my sammichSID always defaults to bank B on start up, and for the life of me I can never switch back to bank A, I usually fluke it some how but when I use it again it starts up with bank B as default?

Any idea how to have bank A as default start up?

And is there a easy solution to switching banks  I have read the manual but cat put my finger on it...

    Thanks in advance

    Cheers

  5. Hey guys thanks for replies and help!

Had a big day at the office, and tomorrow looks to be another 15 hr day... I will check out the given tests tomorrow night.

I have two X 6582a's installed, pretty sure I got the correct filter caps installed, they are on 1st 3rd & 5th I think... will check it out though.

Both sids seem to make the same quite sound... the sids were handled with anti static gloves and I wore a antistatic wrist band while installing, they were stored in antistatic bag in a anti static box in there plastic anti static sleeve etc before use... don't know if this helps?

I will trouble shoot tomorrow night and get back to you guys.

    Thanks again!

    :flowers:

    Cheers

    B

  6. Hey all, using mac osx 10.6.8 and trying to upload to my sammichSID and get this message...

    error.jpg

Every thing is connected as it should be (as I would if doing sysex dumps on my elektron gear)

    Cheers

  7. Hey guys,

    thanks for your replies!

My sound card is in getting fixed at the moment, I should have it back on Friday, I will do a recording then.

Below are patches that are super quiet compared with others, if other patches are at a normal level these (below) are almost silent?

when I first loaded the patch bank only every second one loaded, I reloaded and have the full 127 vintage pack installed.

    1st patch

    6 simple saw

    7 simple pulse

    8 puls w/o body

    9 popcorn

    10 flute

    11 synth plug

14 sync sound (starts quiet then gets louder)

    18 arpeggio

    19 arpeggio 2

    31 metal

    47 wt falling

    56 dont cry baby!

    62 step by step

    68 seq vintage a

    92 monty bass1

    95 monty lead1

    93 monty lead3

    103 sample and hold 1

    123 crescendo

Look forward to hearing your thoughts.

    cheers

    B

  8. Got it sorted!

The solder pad on the pcb of the jmi middle pin (I think, or jmo?) was non existent, I could only tell with a magnifying glass, I could not get it to connect what so ever, so I ran a piece of wire to bridge it to where it needed to be and complete the circuit!

    Success!

    Thanks all for your help!

    It's going! yay!

    :frantics:

Going to start another thread on another possible issue...
