This sensor trackball looks pretty cool. similar to a xy pad (which i can't seem to find on the internet)

I didn't finish it yet... even if it already works very fine, I have to clean up things inside its guts like messy cable path, replacement of several connector by soldering (for power supplying, for example) etc etc.
I have to make the whole thing more reliable (at least in my head  :o )
Now, a big work to do: the interface between the protodeck and Ableton Live.
As I'm a max for live beta tester, I can begin to work on it ... right now  :P
love the information you put on your site very detailed. The panel is nice too. i think i will get mine done from them too. Only thing I am worried about is launching the clips in ableton. I seen akai and novation have a red marker box to know what part of the clip matrix you're selecting. I see you had max for live beta, i wonder if you can make this red marker thing in max for live??

This company is in the USA but its pretty cheap for international shipping and your saving alot on the components too.

I think this one is as close as you can get to a push action and turning knob
check out mouser.com they have lots of potentiometer some are very cheap
i just ordered from them today and only paid .80 per potentiometer =)
