  1. Hello everyone,

I am creating a lighting console using midibox64.

I'm finishing the construction, but I wanted to ask you something.

my mixer basically sends MIDI notes and control changes to my PC, which then handles the midi signals, giving them the scenes of lights.

So, I do EXAMPLE: if I press a button, the midibox put to "ON " a midi note and the signals led of the midibox64 (and my PC, turn the stage lights associated with the note)

now if I connect another device to midibox, through its midiIN.

and now this second device, turn off the midi note (which I have turned on before with the midibox).

how does the midibox ??..... turn off the note with her midi and the LED indicator on the mixer??

    thanks so much

    damiano!

  2. Hello everyone

sorry for my bad English, if you do not understand something,

    Please tell me.

I bought a kit for midibox64, complete with PIC18F (pic based

core) on the shop by mike (all perfect .... shop recommended)

I can not install the mios on pic.

I downloaded mios studio2, now what do I do??

I tried to download from the application of the complete

    midibox64

I loaded on my pc, the file mios Studio 2: Setup_midibox64.hex

I launched the start, to put it above the

pic, the fact that, as the guide says, should appear on the

LCD screen of the core, the written copyrght.

but to me it is empty, the mios studio me says:

    "Operating system: mios8

    board: MBHP_CORE or similar

    core family: PIC18F

    bootloader is up & running!"

please tell me what to do!

    thanks damiano

  3. Good evening.

I want to make a midibox 64 for a lighting control!

then I have to send notes to my midi interface and midi control change midibox .... the 64 can do this?

    through TransFlash expansion modules:

those encoders or digital inputs, I put up??

How many analog inputs can I mount??

    those outputs led can mount??

else, all configuration and asssociazioni key controls that should send midibox must

be programmed via firmware ...... or you can schedule later, with the help of LCD and

    function keys??

    please answer!

  4. Good evening everyone

are new to this and Diu furum this world-midi

I wanted to create a MIDI interface on the basis of midibox 64, which serves to draw the scene for my

    management software lights

I serve the switches that trigger midi notes, at most 50. I would use the switches

momentary, but the function is a implemetare aceensione static, I'll explain:

When I press a switch (momentary), the note to go on, I press a second time and back off the note.

Obviously these switches must be related to LEDs, been displayed to the state of the note!

.... This thing can be implemented simply by software? or do I use the flip flop

configured as a bistable multivibrator, in order to perform the on-off!

and then I will require an additional 10/12 momentary switches, which perform the function of momentary on-off notes, I

    explain:

I press the switch, the note is on, leave the switch and the note to be off.

    third requirement.

I manage, 12/15 against change, from flying to the value 0 127.

then 4 / 5 of these, I would manage with rotary encoders, with dedicated LEDrings. and if possible other via potentiometers.

    You can do this project?

All these settings can be done easily by programming via LCD and keys. or should do it

through the first programming firmware pic??

what and how many integrate cards, I have to buy / build for this project??
