    you just need to wait... make sure, that your forum profile contains your valid email address... at some time Wilba will contact you... If you are planning to order in SmashTvs shop (AVI Showtech), wait a little as rumours say, that he might have Wilbas Control Surface PCB for sale later ;-).

    All in all, you need these things:

    * Core32 + parts kit (SmashTV)

    * Wilbas SEQ-V4 Control Surface PCB (SmashTV or Wilba)

    * Wilbas Control Surface parts (Wilba)

    * two 2x40 character displays (e.g. Ebay)

    * a sequencer case (use your own or look out for a case bulk order)

    * and a CNCed Aluminum Frontpanel (FPE/Schaeffer AG).

    yes, if the gods allow it, it will be a seq v4 eventually ;-). that is, if the cables to the control surface are not too long... TK. said it might be the case... if that happens... yes... we will see ;-)

    sorry, did not understand "the card is securely"

    leds will be most likely special-format dual color leds from digi-key or reichelt, but choose anyone you like

    rotary encoders (not potentiometers) are alps stec encoders from reichelt

    I talked about the PCB's. I solved it by the bulk order recommended by Wilba.

    yes, it will be a seq v4 - will probably take a few more weeks before it is completed, though :)

    i would recommend you order a core32 pcb and kit and 3x din and 3x dout pcb + parts kits from smashtv (links in the tutorial) to be on the safe side...

    Then you can start to solder the core32 which is the heart of your seq v4. This is already described in the tutorial.

    is what I will do.

    begin to assemble the STM32 is the first step.

    Guarda, al momento sono impegnato tra il lavoro e la tesi (tesi=midibox controller), ma se non ha fretta estrema e un po' di pazienza potrei essere disponibile.

    Ti dico subito che se ti serve entro pochissimo non credo di avere la disponibilità di tempo, ma se parliamo di un paio di ore nel weekend non credo di avere problemi.

    Assemblare la scheda con i componenenti e tutto il resto non è un problema, l'unica cosa difficoltosa è il case.

    Ci sono alcune ditte che offrono servizi online per la creazione di pannelli, solo che io li userò per la prima volta con il mio progetto corrente. La precedente midibox che ho costruito aveva il case in legno!!!

    Considera che se ho tutti i pezzi, pcb e componenti, non mi ci vuole molto a costruirla, resterebbe solamente poi la questione case e pannello.

    Io sto perdendo più tempo appresso al pannello che ad altro.

    Per il kit relativo alla midiboxSEQ considera SmashTV, per gli altri componenti io prendo tutto da mouser che ha i prezzi più bassi e sembra ben fornito a livello di componenti.

    Per il pannello Schaeffer-ag, anche se ce n'è un altro che adesso non ricordo. (L'hanno citato nel forum in inglese..ho il bookmark sicuro..)

    Io sono nei pressi di Roma, dove ti trovi te?

    Per il tempo non ci sono problemi. Prima vorrei organizzare un incontro, posso venire io a roma, abito in puglia non siamo molto distanti. Per il pannello e il case ho visto qualcosa su hifi2000.it, non è tanto caro.

    Adesso cerco di mandarti un MP con il mio cellulare e nick di skype, così riusciamo a fare due chiacchiere sulla questione.

    Devo partire da zero.

    Di elettronica non ne capisco molto, in casa ho synth, sequencer e drum machine che riesco a sincronizzare e far funzionare ma non parlarmi di assemblare componenti.

    La mia esigenza è di avere un sequencer che mi dia la possibilità di programmare una song senza l'ausilio del computer che, sinceramente parlando, mi ha stancato.

    Quando compongo Il metodo per avere più libertà di espressione è il sequencer hardware e il MB SEQ V4 con tutte le sue funzioni fa al caso mio anche perchè il mercato offre poco o comunque strumenti con molti limiti (possiedo un doepfer maq 16/3 ma non mi basta).

    ok, just joking, would not sell it for that low amount of money... :-)

    it is really not that difficult to build your own. Search this section, there may be hints and descriptions what to buy and how to build it ;-)

    and, it is great to make music on hardware that you´ve built yourself... just consider it a preparation... other musicians have to exercise their voices, tune their pianos, we have to use a soldering iron - so what...

    Here in Italy is not easy to find these pieces, however I decided to build it myself with the help of a friend who understands more than me. :yes:
