Just got mines. Looks great. Nils sure had fun designing the base pcb! Probably the most artistically designed pcb i've seen. Way to go boys!

Oh and the smd is easy with the sticky flux provided with the kit. Excellent call there. It is a must.

Looks like a bad LCD. Installed a different LCD and it works now. Good thing mouser sent me a replacement!

Frustrating LCD issue.

I am using this LCD

Backlight lights up at power on but no backlight later.

All the graphics display properly.

The pinout on LCD board does not match the pinout on its Data Sheet. Real confused here. Any help is appreciated.

Hi All!

I was trying to find an LCD screen that will work with the MB-6582 control surface PCB. I found this one at Mouser and would like to see if anyone here could help me verify that it would work. Many people use Mouser as a supplier and I think it would be helpful to other midibox users. The price is also cheaper than Crystalfontz if you are just ordering a small quantity.
