  2. ok, got past that, now just back to the orignal problem of being stuck in "rebooting mios"
  3. It's getting even more fun now "MIOS Bootloader mode cannot be entered. Try again?"
  4. It works with LCD Interconnection test and reboots fine, I just can seem to get it to reboot with any other program
  5. Oh, duh, it's there. So what else could it be? After the upload completes, MIOS studio says "No response from MIOS8 or MIOS32 core! check midi connections and device ID" and the LCD just says "rebooting MIOS"
  6. I'm just building a single SID and core module. Do I still need can?

  8. OK, so now I have uploaded mios and I get copyright message and "ready" then I upload MIDIBOX SID v2, but when it's done, the lcd just says "rebooting MIOS" now what?
  9. My pic shipped with the bootloader installed, I thought it was supposed to say "ready" are you saying I can upload from MIOS studio even if there's no "ready" displaying?

  14. Hi, This is gonna sound ridiculous, but I like the aesthetic of a floppy drive on my synths and grooveboxes. Is there anyway possible to substitute a bankstick with a floppy drive or other removable storage device?
  15. I have only two 8580r5 left, I still have four 6581r4 and three 6581 r3 I am still in need of a core kit, and a din kit so I am willing to trade, or sell for the following price: 8580r5 - $30.00 6581r4 - $25.00 6581r3 - $20.00
  16. Hello, I really like the small form factor of the sammichSID. Sadly, I did not get in to order a kit on time. I would like to build something similar, but I'm having difficulty designing an enclosure that would hold the core+ 2 sids + my optimized C64 power supply circuit. I have seen pictures of some very small mono/or stereo sid's on the blog, but they all seem to used a wall wart power supply. Could someone point me to a small box that someone has built using the optimized power supply? I don't want to copy it verbatim, but I'd be interested to see how the innards are laid out. Also, is there a significant amount of noise added by using a wall wart type power supply? Thanks
  17. USA Thanks for the welcome!
  18. Hi, New to this forum, I have a few extra sids 8580r5 and 6581r3 and r4. I have been saving them to build MB-6582, but I have decided to start out with a stereo SID setup for my first project. I could use a complete core kit, or some extra cash to order the things I need from smash. E-mail me at commodoreeightyfour@gmail.com if interested. Thanks
