As such, my EG does not change level and change overall VCA volume based on incoming midi note velocity.If I could get the gate level to change based on incoming midi note vel, I could achieve the same dynamic playing as in the midi realm.Is there any way to change this behavior?Whomper Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
seppoman Posted October 10, 2008 Report Share Posted October 10, 2008 That's the intended behaviour of a gate signal, it's always on/off only. A gate is only meant for triggering external (analog) envelope generators or one-shot events like drum sounds.
