SmashTv SID and Core kits questions

Hi all,

I just found back my two sids chips (6581) while moving out, and decided to start a stereo project from scratch, since stuff have upgraded to Sid v2!

So, I'm considering buying all parts (except for LCD and future control surface) from SmashTV, but a small question came into my mind:

In the walktrough, the board needs to be bridged at the very beginning, but I can't see any of these bridges on SmashTV's live board map!

So my guess is, no need for bridging, but I may be wrong?

Also, are the MIDI sockets included in the Core Kit?

No bridges on SmashTV boards, they are double sided.

MIDI sockets included, and a MIDIBox sticker.
